MLA has stopped assigning the Att. Category entered during bulk upload and individual file upload when Smush plugin is activated. Also, the debug page shows a critical error when pressing reset, regardless of what plugin are active.

Thanks for your report. I have installed and activated the free Smush version and run some tests. On my system uploading files with the Media/Add New (Upload New Media) screen completes MLA mapping rules, e.g., term assignment, even when Smush is configured with “Strip my image metadata” and “Compress original images”. There are several ways to upload images and if you can tell me the steps you are following I can try to reproduce your problem more accurately.

You wrote “the debug page shows a critical error when pressing reset“. On my system the Settings/Media Library Assistant Debug tab “Reset” function empties the error log file without any errors. Can you tell me more about the critical error you experience? Are there any entries in the error log that might be related?

Thanks for any additional information you can provide, and for your interest in MLA.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you are still experiencing the problem and have additional information that will help me investigate further. Thank you.
