This is not the first time i encounter such an issue. I have noticed this issue in many of my posts (which would be inappropriate to place them all here).
Here is one of the latest posts i noticed such an error.
I have other posts where the paragraphs are much longer and don’t see this error.
Can you please check it out and let me know what is wrong.
also…I have also noticed that you have placed as a metric score “Use Content AI to optimise the Post”. Do you think that this shouldn’t be part of the metric?
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please share the name of the page builder that you have used for the affected posts.
For the ContentAI test: Using the ContentAI provides you with more insights and recommendations that will help you optimize your content for the keyword that you want to rank for. That’s why we have added the test.
Having said that, the SEO score is only for your reference and it doesn’t affect your site’s SEO performance. So you can ignore the contentAI test if you don’t want to use it on a post. You can also disable the ContentAI test by adding this filter to your site: https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-seo-content-tests/#content-ai-test
There is no hidden text on the page. Any html such as the nav and toc both do not go over 120 words and when they are removed the error is still there.
Rank Math is fully compatible with Elementor and should be able to detect the correct word count for the paragraphs. I also checked on my end and it is able to recognize the correct length for the paragraphs.
Upon inspecting the content of your page, I was able to check that you are adding the content by using the shortcodes in Elementor’s shortcode widget. That could be the reason for the incorrect count based on how the shortcode is being rendered in the editor. https://i.rankmath.com/WYWNF1
You can also check for a plugin conflict to see if the issue is being caused due to the conflict with any other plugin on your site.
Yes, you are right! After an investigation on few posts noticed that those posts created with Classic Editor cause the issue.
Note that i have removed the classic editor long ago but somehow it’s still affecting those posts. I have tried to find any connection of the classic editor with the current theme but i haven’t found one.
Can you please tell how to completely remove it (if that is the case) or how to make posts not dependent on Classic Editor?
Could you confirm if you’re also using Elementor or any other page builder?
We would suggest performing the plugin/theme conflict test (if not performed already) that we suggested in our previous reply to see if the issue is caused by any existing plugin/theme.
I don’t think that this keeps classic editor still enabled. (like i said on the previous message. Not all posts are affected by the classic editor)
What do you think?
You will have to remove the content that you had added in the Classic Editor and add it back using Elementor (or the builder/editor you are using for the post) on the affected posts.
If there are a lot of the affected posts then you can simply ignore the test as it is only for your reference and will not affect the SEO performance of your posts.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
