  • Hey, I went through the whole documentation of EDD and read how can I change this bug. No luck so far. The problem is in your theme, tried with all plugins of and wp2020.

    How to replicate:
    1. Install Astra free/pro whatever
    2. Install ordinary EDD plugin
    3. Put 3 downloads in the same category ___and add content to them___
    4. Go to the page of the 3rd download you added
    5. Both products load beneath the 1st product and if you have a caching plugin on top of that they are bugged. It automatically changes the URL in the browser to /downloads/product1 ->> scroll down –>> /downloads/product2 ->> scroll down –>> /downloads/product3

And their content looks so terrible. How do we turn this off? This is a terrible unwanted feature. I tried it with ordinary WP templates and there is no such bug. The archive page where it contains all downloads ->> “/downloads” is OK… but when you open a post from the same category it starts to load all the crap in the world with it and makes the styles of the other products unusable. Try it with WP Rocket. Also, this is an anti-feature! How to turn it off forever so when someone opens /downloads/product2 they see only this product, even if it’s in the same category with 5 others?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I tried copying all the included EDD template files into your folder. No luck so far. Is there anyone who can explain how to remove this unwanted “feature”?

    Hi @bjordanov ,

We are not sure why this is happening. Would you mind creating a support ticket regarding your issue from here?

I’m sorry the answer I received there was 100% unrelated to my question. Again the problem is not with redirection. Please carefully read the problem again. I think I described it very well. Thanks!

    This was your answer:
Thanks for writing in! Have you checked the EDD documentation on the redirection issue? Here is the link for the redirection issue: https://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/682-protected-download-files-on-nginx

Also, no one is using Nginx. I’m using Apache. I never said I’m using Nginx

    Hi @bjordanov ,

We replied to your last email, but we haven’t heard from you later. Would you mind checking your email inbox and respond to us with the query we asked in there.
