    Thanks for creating this plugin!

I used the previous version of this plugin, ‘CSS & JavaScript Toolbox’, for a number of years and have recently updated to ‘Easy Code Manager’. I use mostly shortcodes across my website on Product pages (I use the WooCommerce plugin). However, this taxonomy of pages does not seem to be picked up by the location assignment tool. I’m unable to assign a location to the code blocks as Product pages do not show up under Panel > Assignments.

FYI, I’ve updated the syntax of all the shortcodes according to the new syntax in Panel > Information, but the shortcode is not showing up on the source code of the page. So, this leads me to think that the issue is with Assignments (which I don’s seem to be able to do anything about…).

Moreover, I’m unsure what to do if I want the code to show up on every single page such as with the Google Analytics tag. What do you do in these cases? Will I not be excluding the pages that I do not actively check under Assignments because they do not show up there?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hi there,

Thanks for your detailed message and your appreciation of the plugin. 🙂
I believe you were previously running CSS & JavaScript Toolbox free edition and now you have migrated to Easy Code Manager free edition, which both are available on – correct?

It may in fact be better to stay on CSS & JavaScript Toolbox free edition as like you said, this provides much more assignments such as WooCommerce product pages. Another thing, CSS & JavaScript Toolbox free edition has an Auxiliary assignment called ‘Entire Website’ and this selection can be used for scripts like Google Analytics where you need it to run on your entire website.

That said, a lot of users are moving away from CSS & javaScript Toolbox because we can no longer afford to spend time updating this plugin. The last update was almost a year ago and the recently pushed update only contained some notification messages to advise users to move onto Easy Code Manager. That was all – no fixes or anything!

So if you want all of these features, plus the latest fixes, then you will need to upgrade to Easy Code Manager PLUS (

Thanks for your support and I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks, Damian! Yes, it does answer my questions, as does Makes sense.
