Assign User to event

    I am using BUDDYPRESS and EVENTS MANAGER.

    I would like to assign a user to an event, then automatically email that user to ask them to login and edit the event as they wish. Can this be done?

    Also, are there any add ons that will product a gallery? I realise you can use NexGen and shortcodes, but the user will not have the knowledge to create a gallery and then use a short code.
