Assign a custom field to a category and another inquiries

    Hi,

    1- How to assign a custom field to a category that would be shown in the form only if that category is selected?
    For example, when creating a new list and select (Restaurants Category) I want to show the assigned field which has these options (5* – 4* ..etc).
    and when select (Property Category) it shows the assigned field which has these options (Hotels – Resorts ..etc).
    and so on.

    2- How can the hierarchy of the categories be shown in the form and in the search field?
    For example: The main category is, Cars has 2 child categories which are : Nissan + Toyota.
    Want those 2 child categories be shown only and only if the user selected cars.

    3- Does your plugin or “Userswp” support private messages?

    Hi,

    1 Not possible. Custom fields are not category dependent.

    2 Unfortunately this isn’t possible either out of the box. If you select checkboxes as the option to show in the add listing form, you could probably do this with some custom js. To have categories in the search form you need the advanced search add-on.

    3 UsersWP will soon have private messages. The add-on is finished and being tested right now. It should be released either next week or the week after it.
