Title: Asset Optimization Corrupting CSS Last modified: November 12, 2020 --- # Asset Optimization Corrupting CSS * Resolved [graybirchsolutions](https://wordpress.org/support/users/graybirchsolutions/) * (@graybirchsolutions) * [5 years, 8 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/asset-optimization-corrupting-css/) * After updating to 2.6.0 I began to have issues with asset optimization corrupting my site’s CSS. * I have replaced Hummingbird with W3TC on my production site but left Hummingbird active on my development site to allow troubleshooting. * The dev site is currently showing corrupted CSS and I would be happy to provide access to the dashboard or the file system to allow someone from WPMU DEV to take a look. * The site is using Elementor/Elementor Pro as the page builder in addition to an assortment of other plugins. Was only Hummingbird updated lately? * In case when Automatic Asset Optimization doesn’t work well, you might need to try manual optimization.
