 * When trying to Activate Asset Optimization Hummingbird performs a file check 
   and then reports there are 0 files to optimize?

 * I hope you are keeping well and sorry to hear about the issue.
 * Do you have any server-side cache enabled for the website? If yes, please try
   clearing all the cache and check if that resolves the issue?
 * If the issue persists, please try a complete conflict test to ensure no other
   plugin is conflicting and causing a problem. The following flowchart can help
