 * Was there any consideration for accessibility?
 * I have a client who is blind and runs a blog. It is amazing what he can do. I’ve
been web designing for 20+ years and even I have trouble even selecting the parent
column block as it grabs the inside blocks instead. Adding an manipulating images
is tricky. Not to mention adding links is a nightmare… how is one to remember
the name of every page on the site?
 * How the heck is blind or visually impaired person supposed to manage this?
 * With the classic editor I was able to train my blind client in less than an hour.
I can’t even imagine training one of my sited clients with this Gutenberg, never
   mind a blind person.
 * What were you thinking?

 * They weren’t. I’m in the same situation.

 * I received and email notice which I pasted below as it seems it never made it
to this string. My response to Andrew (from the messages posted below) is that
everything about Gutenberg would make it difficult to train even a sited person.
Adding links, adding images, creating columns, finicky blocks you can’t grab.
Just the whole kit and kaboodle is difficult to use.
 * Secondly, I assume those running the forums are paid employees on the Gutenberg
team, (but forgive me if I assume wrong). They are earning a living while on
these forums. I don’t get paid to assess Gutenberg and I need to make a paycheck.
My time is valuable and these kinks should have been addressed before they were
imposed on the general public who have families to care for and bills to pay
and not all the time in the world to write support requests and assess your project.
 * My solution for any site that a client is self maintaining is the Classic Editor
   plugin.
 * I will continue to try Gutenberg but only for sites I maintain or new sites as
I have 20 years experience and the savvy to muddle through. And believe me I
am muddling every step of the way. I cannot imagine a non-tech or visually impaired
person login into the dashboard and facing this monstrosity. So far I had three
plugins for Gutenberg cause conflict or simply not work.
 * And to comment on the note below “far from perfect” is a big understatement.

 * There has been a push for accessibilility, but Gutenberg is far from perfect.
Still we need a pragmatic description of the issues you envisage. What kind of
things would be difficult to train your blind clients on?
