• Hello everyone
I move my site to a vps server(from a sharehost) and since than it ask me for ftp user id and password each time I want to install a plugin. Also many plugin don’t work with my buddypress(album, invite)anything that involve upload. I know it is from the server but just don’t know what, I saw many topic about that but all of them were about localhost, but mine isn’t.
Does someone know what I have to do to correct this?

  • Making sure your WP folders are writable usually solves this. More info here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

If your folders are not writable then you will keep having to login before making any changes to your server via the WP admin panel
