Asides, query_posts and pagination

Hi there,

I’m banging my head with this one. I’m using Matt’s hack for asides and I’m also excluding a category on the loop. I’ve used

query_posts(“cat=-10”)

before the loop but soon found out that this was incompatible with pagination.

I found a working solution on another topic – http://wordpress.org/support/topic/57912 – however, when I’m on the last page the number of posts is lower than the maximum defined on the settings and I’m getting “empty” post markup – as if it’s forcing the page to have 10 posts when, in fact, there are only 3.
