Asides Problem

  • Hi all,

I’m trying to implement Asides into my blog. I followed these instructions here:

    http://randomlog.net/archives/2005/01/28/implementing-matts-asides-with-wp-15/

It’s working – sort of. If you go to my site at joshteeters.org, you can see what I mean. It shows the CSS for the asides (light grey background with a “power on” icon to the left). It also shows the edit link for me, as well as the comment link.

The only thing it DOESN’T show is.. well, the actual post text.

Any ideas as to what’s going on? 🙁

  • You mean like this entry:

    * Authorial candy bars, with their respective tag lines, that weren’t as successful as the Oh Henry! candy bar. I saw a link to this over at kottke.org. Some of them are really funny, but more than anything, it just made me hungry. Damn. A candy bar sounds really good right now. (0)

    Got things working?

    Looks like it…

    nice wee icon, snazzy!

Actually, it wasn’t a code problem. It was a plugin problem. Apparently, the code I was using was fine. A plugin I was using (Ultimate Tag Warrior) was, somehow or another, making the Asides text not show up. Christine (maker of UTW) released a new version last night to fix the problem, and now, all is working well.

    Woot.
