• Is there a way to have the artwork display in place of the featured image? If it requires some code, which I assume it does, can you provide it. I’m not interested in having to add it twice for each post if I don’t have to.

Featured images are usually a function of your WordPress site’s theme. There’s no way for the PowerPress plugin to modify featured images.

    Hello @jealbr75,

There may be a good idea here. The challenge has been that some themes enable the “featured image” option in WordPress, while others do not. Will add this as something we will research, it may be something we can do to set the podcast “episode” artwork also as the featured image, it be something that has to be set at the time you upload the image however, as the featured image in each theme is typically sized differently.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

    Thanks @amandato

I’m using Oxygen Builder on the site I’m trying to achieve this on, so no theme is used per say.

An alternative would be if the image can be called by metadata, however I’m unable to find any info on this.

Also the site I’m trying to achieve this is on, is podcast only. So every post is a podcast. Just trying to find an easy way to achieve this.

Also, to so you know how I’m trying to do this. I’m trying to insert the artwork via dynamic data. I’ve tried a few different things to no avail.

Perhaps you can share some PHP function name I could try to use with the function argument itunes_image.

Any ideas on meta data I can use to pull the artwork with using dynamic data?

    Hello @jealbr75,

I do not understand the question. Do you wish to add a URL to the itunes_image stored in a podcast episode’s meta data?

    Thanks,
    Angelo
