    Hi @yoshimasa0202,

    Known issue, please follow these instructions while a new update is ready for release:

    1. Go to Plugins > Plugin Editor y select WordPress Popular Posts.

    2. Click on src/Output.php to edit this file.

    3. Replace the contents of this file with this version.

    4. Click on Update File to save changes.

    I face a similar issue. Both the widget and shortcode generated contents are garbled with messy codes, showing CSS and some sort. My contents are in Chinese, by the way.

    I edited output.php as per your instruction, but in vain.

    But I have disabled the plugin for the time being, because it displays messed up codes instead of Chinese and ruins the layout

    I also have this problem, too in romanian language for special characters like ă, ș, ț etc. Your file above did not work.

    Hello. A similar problem in Russian. The table of contents is displayed “ПОПУЛЯРÐОЕ”. There is no text for popular entries. Replacing doesn’t help.
    Came back to version 5.3.3
