 * I am working on a website of a friend who was started by someone else. This person
set the site up using Word Press, and I unfortunately don’t know a lot about
   this particular content management system.
 * He set the articles up to show up in a section called Articles. However, he set
them up to show up by month. So if there are 15 articles they all go back-to-
back in the particular month that they were added to the section.
 * Is there a way to get the articles to link by specific day or even better can
they be linked by article title?
 * The website is [http://www.christkingdomcome.com](http://www.christkingdomcome.com)
if you need to “see” what I’m talking about.
 * Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

 * At the moment, every post is contained within a single category called ‘Articles’.
 * Posts are placed into the site in a chrolological fashion,so any written in September
will show in that archive and any in July in that archive and so on…
 * What may be a more suitable option [in light of what you are seeking] is to make
each post a page instead. This involves a bit of cut and paste work, but then
you will have each article with its own title, contained by istelf. You can call
the pages automatically into a list in your sidebar and this will list every
   article for ease of navigation.
It will also rectify the issue of long pages
of posts [with each one being long by itself already].
 * There are other options too of course, but this may sut your needs.

 * Yes that is exactly what I’m looking for. How do I do that exactly?

 * As I say, a bit painstaking in the copy/paste department, but open a post – copy
the content to a page – save with exactly the same title – delete the old post.
 * In your sidebar you place some code – a call to your pages – and as each page
is completed, it will show as a part of the page list.
 * `<?php wp_list_pages('depth=1&title_li='); ?>` which can be styled using your
   CSS will list the pages.

 * On what page do I put this particular code? <?php wp_list_pages(‘depth=1&title_li
   =’); ?>
 * Sorry for the elementary questions, but I’m VERY challenged when it comes to
   coding :).

 * To have that showing in your sidebar, paste it into your theme sidebar.php file
