  • Hi,
    As you can see on:

On the headline, there is no space between the text:

    “Let’s start with England:
ENGLAND: The FA Cup’s fourth round went”

as there is in the main post. How can I fix this, because this makes it look very messy.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  • Arthemia uses a custom function to display that area of content. It essentially removes the <p> tag from being displayed and replaces it with a <br> tag.

If you look into the functions.php file (I believe) towards the bottom of that file you should find the function that deals with displaying that content. I don’t have access to the Arthemia files right this second though so if you’d want some further guidance let me know and I’ll try to get back with you ASAP.

Yea, could you look into the functions file and help me out please, I can’t figure it out, I don’t see anything in there that would help me fix that!

Did you get things figured out? Looking at your homepage under the Headline section it is now showing how you were wanting it to display before I believe.

Well, sort of. See, I removed the strip tags (because the theme was getting the excerpt for all posts, including the headline) but that messed up the rest of my page because of the HTML tags in my posts. So I just added an excerpt to the headline to fix that, but I still want to figure out how I can have it do that without me manually entering an excerpt as WordPress gets an automatic 55 word excerpt, which in not only the headline, but also the posts below it, it is not spaced properly (the paragraphs are bunched together). I’m probably going to make a new thread about it.
