I have a number of wordpress blogs on a server with the following specs:
    – OS: Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 running IIS 6
    – PHP: 5.3.1
    – MySQL: 5.1.4
    – WordPress: 3.3.1
Some of the blogs use “Arras” theme.

We moved the blogs to a new server with the following specs:
    – OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard x64 running IIS 7.5
    – PHP: 5.3.1
    – MySQL: 5.5.21
    – WordPress: 3.3.1

After the move the blogs that used the “Arras” theme stopped working. Most of them will display a single color blank screen, while others would return an internal server error. Please note that we still have access to the dashboard.

Can you please help me in getting those blogs operational again.

Whatever it is, it doesn’t sound like the theme is at fault here. Try server settings, file permissions, etc.

Just to point out, other themes work fine on the new server for the same blog. So I am certain it has something to do with this particualr theme. The problem is that I am not at liberty to change it as the blogs belong to a customer.

That’s very strange. Have you tried reinstalling the theme?

we did re-install it but that did not help either. I am concerned that this might be a compatability issue with IIS 7.5

Would anyone be able to assist me with this issue?

    Thanks
