I’m interested in finding out who’s using Zotpress. If you have a public blog, are actively using Zotpress, and have no qualms sharing it with the world, I encourage you to post your URL here.
I’ll start out with my master’s student blog: http://katieseaborn.com/masters/
Thanks for making this super useful add-in!
I’m using Zotpress to publish some specialist bibliographies on my website.
I’m an academic so I have very large reference files in Zotero. I just installed the latest version of zotpress which fixed some problems I was having, so thanks!
Would love to have the ability to sort by author name (as others have mentioned) but actually sorting by year of publication would be even more useful. I’d also like to make these bibliographies a bit more interactive for readers, so adding a search box, tag clouds for filtering…a bit pie in the sky. What it is for now is great.
Here are my shortcodes in case you are curious to see what features I made use of:
[zotpress nickname=”blogkey” collection_id=”PC96Q3C7″ tag_name=”Ghana” limit=”99″]
[zotpress nickname=”blogkey” collection_id=”66WJ2KK2″ limit=”99″]
Thanks again and looking forward to future updates and new features.
I just released Zotpress 4.0, which lets you sort by author or date.
Thanks for the suggestions! You can create a very basic tag “cloud” (more like a list, but you should be able to style it with CSS) with this short code: [zotpress datatype=”tags”]
If you have any other ideas or would like to reply to these, it would be great if you could do so in the “Feature Suggestions” topic: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/feature-suggestions-for-zotpress?replies=4
Congratulations on developing such a wonderful tool!
Here’s a sample bibliography I created on the Collaborative Writing Tools site, designed to help other scholar-educators learn how to use WordPress to share our writing.
