  • Every time I’m trying to publish/save a post or page, I will receive a message, “Are you sure you want to edit this post: ..?”

Regardless of selecting “Yes” or “No”, my post/page will lost. As a result, I have lost quite a number of posts due to that bug.

    Can you help me?

Are you sure you want to edit this post: “”?

    No Yes

    in Spanish:

¿Seguro que desea editar esta entrada: “”?

no tiene nadie una solucion para este bug?

The same thing is happening at my location since I upgraded to version 2.3. I have gotten use to cutting and pasting my content to a blank Word file before trying to post or save. I lost work too.

I have the same problem today, but I find if I select yes, then use the back button and get to my post again, then save again and select yes, it binds the page the second time and it exists. I am hopeful that we find a solution of course.

I have the same problem, difficult to reproduce.
It causes data loss, since if I answer “yes” it sends me to manage posts page but i can’t find the new inserted one.

Do you know if this problem has been put on trac?

I’m experiencing it with WP 2.3.3

I am also having this problem. It disturbs me that we’re months into this now and still there is no solution. I CANNOT POST! How can we fix this?

Try turning off the Visual Editor, by unchecking it in Users>Your Profile. There may be a better fix but that worked for me a while ago.
