    Are WordPress sites safely accessible if a new post is being edited?

    Or should one always use a site maintenance plugin when accessing the dashboard to edit a new post or page?

    When you are editing a post, the old content will show until you do an update. It’s fine to leave it there. If you put the site into maintenance mode every time you did something it would mean that the site’s down a whole lot really.
