# Are WordPress Comments Anonymous?

 * Just curious to know how “Anonymous” WordPress comments are.
 * Are company is using WordPress internally as a means of allowing people to express
   themselves freely about problems within the company… by posint anonymous commments.
 * I’m just curious, are these really anonymous? Or can they trace an ip to an anonymous
   comment and trace the comment back to me?

 * Yep, every comment comes with an IP! If they can trace the IP then they’ve got
   you.
