Are there new hacking attemps happening?

    Hello,

    I am wondering… we have a WP online store built with TheCartPress.
    During the last 2-3 weeks I notice several user registrations (only needed at checkout) by non customers, all from hotmail or msn addresses.

    I am wondering whether there is a new attack on the way?
    Our site is secured with WP Better Security.

    There’s always new attacks on the way. Some are bigger then others and some are more coordinated towrads individual sites, but there’s always someone out there that’s trying to break into systems like that. The automated SPAM bots will always be around.

    You can if you want to, but I doubt that they’ll be able to do much either. There’s a lot of security plugins that focus on blocking SPAM user registrations, so I’d sugest looking at some of those.
