    I’ve been struggling a bit with getting all the og:xxxx settings. I am using the Pure & Simple theme in my wordpress. When I look at the page source, I don’t see the settings I configured with Yoast SEO. Your plugin looks interesting. In Yoast I can only enter the image. On the home page, there is no text, so I want to configure it so that some text, shows up when I post on Facebook. I tried entering text as a comment, but it doesn’t seem to pick it up. If I install your plugin, will there be conflicts with the Yoast plugin? I know you don’t deal with Yoast, but maybe someone knows. Would I need to uninstall Yoast if I use OG?

    Thanks.

    Hi @alfredojahn,

    YOAST handle open graph and I suggest to no use OG simultaneously with YOAST. YOAST is a much bigger plugin with a loooot of functionality, including open graph protocol.

    You can change the value of any tag, using a filter which name like:
    og_[name]_value and for og:title [name] should be og_title.

    example:

    <?php

    add_filter( 'og_og_title_value', 'my_iworks_og_title' );

    function my_iworks_og_title( $title ) {
        if ( is_home() ) {
            return 'foo bar';
        }
        return $title;
    }

    I hope it help.

    Marcin

    Thank you!
