  • Resolved TheHungryGeek

I am currently using Easy Watermark to watermark photos as they are uploaded.

When using the Way2enjoy plugin, could I confirm that the workflow will be as follows:

Upload -> picture watermarked first -> watermarked picture sent for compression

I am currently using the TinyPNG compression plugin and it uses the optimised workflow that I highlighted above. If the compression is done first before the watermark, the resulting image will have a large file size.

Hope you could let me know whether it will work this way.

    Dear Sir,

Sorry for delay in reply. We were unaware about this conflict. thanks for highlighting. You have two options
    1. disable automatic compression from our dashboard and let watermark plugin do the work. You can optimize all images with one click afterwards whenever you want but we dont like this manual optimization as everytime you have to go and untill you optimize it will be uncompressed and page loading time will increase and google crawls as soonas you submit your site so they will rank you lower if images are not optimized
    2. wait for our 2.2 update where you can add (c) symbol and even add watermark from our plugin(probably)

    Hello, thanks for your response.

I am not aware of a conflict now, I am just asking if there is one, as per my post above.

Also, when will the 2.2 update be released?

Marking this as resolved as these can be solved if you disable the automatic compression from our dashboard and allow watermark plugin to watermark first. we may release mew updates with watermark feature in 2.2 scheduled for 15 feb 2018
