• Hi all,

I’d like to write a couple of posts on my blog and hopefully get them up higher in Google. I’ve researched some (what I think are) good eywords and was wondering if the Post Title or slug is picked up by Google, and if so which was better?

For instance, let’s say my keyword was “golf clubs for kids” (it’s not…just an example). If I created a post name “Golf Clubs for Kids”, and had a slug of sitename/golf-club-for-kids.htm, would it be picked up by google instead of my main sitename?

The reason I ask is because my site is based on a very competitive genre and I don’t think I will get very high on the main site title. I was hoping the posts would help me bring in a little more traffic is properly optimized.

    Thanks for the help!

Sorry to bring this up again, but does anyone have any suggestions? I’m wondering if there is any preference to naming your category slug around the keywords you want, or the post title. In other words, does Google consider one better than the other when indexing your website posts?

    Thanks!
