# Are mandatory/required fields post fields possible?

 * Hi,
 * I have a blog with multi writers, and I want to be sure that they enter for each
   post a title, excerpt, choose category and write some content in the post.
 * Is there a way – using filters, actions or a plugin or so – to force manadory
   fields?

 * This is what I need too. There are plugins that can make custom forms that can
   make mandatory fields, but their content isn’t searchable.
