Archive?? Version of site by year?

    Hello,

    I don’t know if archiving is the right word but here’s what I’m trying to do, I’d like to archive (or version) a version of a site I use for an annual event. So if you go to south by southwest (SXSW.com), after the festival, they roll directly into the next year and archive the previous’s year’s version. Is there a plugin to do that. or something that would move everything to http://www.mywebsite.com/2016/ so when people visit, they see http://www.mywebsite.com which would be used to promote the 2017 event.

    to be clear, I don’t need it to archive the site by year…just to allow me to move the entire site to subfolder (which in my case would be done by year) while keeping the links active…? Is that a thing?
