# Archive Queries

 * I have a couple of queries, I’ve done a search of the site but I cant find anything
   about how to do either of these.
 * Is it possible to create a category archive list page like this [http://www.ginkgodreams.com/index/ginkgodreams/categories/](http://www.ginkgodreams.com/index/ginkgodreams/categories/)
   with wordpress? If so, is there any tutorials about how to do it?
 * Secondly, how do I get my archives to display differently from the index page
   for example
    by month will be in excrept format like in my actuall blog
 * by category will have to be in bullet format.
 * Any help will be much appreciated!

 * There is a plugin I use called srg_clean_archives that does the monthly archive
   list.

 * Have managed to write the code required for most of this – using extract etc 
   but getting a archives page that shows one or two entries out of each category
   like this still eludes me
