Archive, Post, Category Links Do Not Show Detail

    When I select a link on my front page to an archive month or category I jump to a page that lists the archive months and the post categories but does not show the contents of the month or category. If I click on the link on this page I just loop back with no details of the archive or category.

    What have I messed up?

    I have WordPress 2.05 with a few plugins and the default theme.

    Did you tinker with the template files?
    The default theme comes with two files that have very similar names:
    archive.php
    archives.php <– this one is a Page template…

    It seems as if you wrongly named archiveS.php to archive.php.

    I’d upload fresh copies of archive.php and archives.php

    I did tinker with the archives.php file. I loaded the original and everything is working now.
