[Resolved] Archive PHP is_month breaking template?

  • Oddest thing – I am trying to develop my archive.php template and here’s what I’ve got:

    [Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

    I don’t have any problem viewing any of the archives EXCEPT the archive by month – it breaks the theme. Any ideas why this is happening?

    the site displays the same for month archive (2009/08) and category archive (featured) in firefor3.6;

    which browser are you using?

    what exactly ‘breaks’?

    edit: i just see, the header is different.

    it is probably caused by the .date body_class which conflicts with a style also used for other reasons in one of the stylesheets (style.css) of your theme:

    .date {
     margin-top: -15px;
     background: url(images/calendar.png) bottom left no-repeat;
     padding-left: 20px;
     margin-bottom: 20px;
    }

    possible way to remove the .date class from the body_class output:

    (untested)

    Just upgraded to firefox 4.0

    The body background doesn’t load, the header actually has a negative margin.

    I’m viewing CSS and I’m seeing the body element but I can’t figure out why it would load for one type of archive but not the other. :/

    THANK YOU. Modified my date class for the posts, all is right with the world.
