# Archive page problem

 * Hello,
 * i am having a very serious problem with my theme i guess,
 * open it and click on page 2 [http://cosmetics.pk/page/2/](http://cosmetics.pk/page/2/)
   and then mouse hover on page 1 it will show you the homepage link instead of 
   page 1 link , this is causing a duplicate meta description in google webmaster
   tool.
 * how i can fix it?

 * If you have two or more pages with duplicate meta description, you surely will
   have the above problem. Do you have more than one page with the same meta description?
   If the theme lists the same page twice, it will not create the problem.
 * A better option would be to have a static front page, and the rest of the posts
   named as blog (or anything you like).

 * only 2 pages have same meta description one is [http://www.cosmetics.pk](http://www.cosmetics.pk)
   homepage 2nd is [http://cosmetics.pk/page/1/](http://cosmetics.pk/page/1/) and
   second thing is that when you goto [http://cosmetics.pk/page/2/](http://cosmetics.pk/page/2/)
   just mouse hover on page 1 from the bottom in pagenavi it will show you the homepage
   link rather than this [http://cosmetics.pk/page/1/](http://cosmetics.pk/page/1/)

 * Which are the two pages showing the same meta description? Are they `http://cosmetics.
   pk/page/1/` and `http://cosmetics.pk` ?

 * yes brother, even [http://cosmetics.pk/page/2/](http://cosmetics.pk/page/2/) 
   3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and so on are fine.
