    Hey guys,

I made an custom shop start page. But when I set this in the woocommerce settings to the main shop page, the default one overwrites it. Did someone know how to fix that?

I think it also has something to do with the permalinks, because if it doesn’t run under “/shop” everything is displayed correctly.

    Thank you a lot!

    This is the correct one
    This is the wrong one

That is normal. WooCommerce manages the shop page and its content. If you do not want to lose your custom content, don’t set the Shop page in the settings and only use your custom shop page.

    Hi there,

The overriding behaviour is based on page assignment. This means that whichever page is assigned as the shop page under **WooCommerce > Settings > Products > General** will be overridden with a page that’s automatically generated 🙂
