    Hello,

I see the checkbox option for Deleting Expired Events, but is it possible to maybe archive or unpublish an expired event?

Also, we’re having an issue with expired events still showing up in our listing. Does the Delete Expired Events checkbox have to be checked off in order for these events to no longer show?

    Thanks,

    Randy

Yes it does need to be checked – if selected the plug-in would use wp-cron to delete events around 24 hours after their last occurrence finishes.

You could write a similar cron routine to unpublish events, but the plug-in doesn’t provide a setting for doing that.

I had the same exact question, it’s a pity that you have to delete older events, for me many of these could be used again in future as they repeat yearly, to have to delete them in order to stop people booking expired events is a pity, if they could be marked as draft would be much better in my opinion..

You don’t have to delete events to stop people booking expired events.

The ability to book events it not included in the base version, and requires the Pro extension, but you cannot book a place on event once it has started (by default).
