Archive of events is showing instead of Upcoming only

    I already have the Event List Settings checked off for “Listed Events: Only show upcoming events in feed “, but I am getting a page that’s titled “Archive” and that shows both the upcoming and all the past events, which is confusing for my users. This wasn’t a problem before – am I missing a setting added into a later update?

    Do you get the archive page instead of the feed?

    Because that would be strange.

    The archive page itself is a result of changes introduced in version 0.8.0 of the Event List plugin, when the plugin switched from storing events in its own database table to storing them as a so-called custom post type.

    Just like regular posts have an archive, so do custom posts.

    Google ‘disable archive for custom post type’ to see what to do if you want to get rid of the archive. Another option would be to use the archive to your advantage, but will probably need some work.
