Archive Hack

  • Thought since I was having archive issues I would try MtDewVirus’ archive hack that I found on the wiki. Now I am getting the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare archive_date() (previously declared in /homepages/28/d88240883/htdocs/SGRBlog/wordpress/my-hacks.php:12) in /homepages/28/d88240883/htdocs/SGRBlog/wordpress/my-hacks.php on line 12
I checked to make sure I pasted it into myhacks.php correctly, and I changed all the code to match what he said. Any clues?

  • yes, I missed the dash in my-hacks.php, if you look at the page you can see the code is in the right file, somehow the code isn’t doing what its supposed to do.

Well nevermind… I am starting to learn how to troubleshoot my problems before I can get answers to them. Scary…

and good too. Most of us start that way, and end up contributing something to the community, and the product gets better. 🙂

Sounds like you may have copied the code twice because the error claims that a function is declared twice.
