    Hello,

thank you for the feedback, we will test this case and let you know as finish.

By the way, could you please check option ‘Comment must be manually approved’ here,

WordPress console -> Settings -> Discussion

    Is the option disabled?

    One question.
Is this option enabled or disabled:
Dashboard > Settings > Discussion > Comment must be manually approved ?

    (@thomasfrank09)

That setting is unchecked for me.

    Thanks!

Please check this option. Does it help?
And can yoy give us request_ids of spam messages that passed by CleanTalk?

Wouldn’t that force every comment into the moderation queue? I’d like legitimate comments to be approved automatically as they normally are.

Here’s one of the comments that was approved but marked as spam by Akismet: 2cd89af16bc7dd4a3d760d5ffcc9806c

Yes, it would. Ok, it looks like we have to do more tests with Akismet to find solution for this issue.

Please let us a few days. Thank you for examples!

    Hi.
    You can test this version:
    https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip

    1. Go to WordPress Console -> Plugins.
    2. Deactivate, delete “Anti-spam by CleanTalk”.
    3. Go to WordPress Console -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload.
    4. Upload zip-file and activate new version.

    Hi,

Is the checked setting Discussion > Comment must be manually approved a condition that cleantalk identifies a spam comment?

    Regards

    Plugin Author Denis

    (@shagimuratov)

    Hi,

No, it is not. If the option checked the plugin will automatically approve not spam comments.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

    Hi,

thanks for the answer. I tested it with the unchecked Option.
For my comments form the name is the only required field. If the email is stop_email@example.com the comment is identified as a spam.

If the spam-email-address is posted in the comment field the spam is identified by cleantalk log page but the comment is shown as a “normal/ friendly / not spam” comment on the WP-page.

How can i test the blocking mechanism? Can you give me a text for the comment field to test this.

    Hello, Lebowski21!
Please, give us address of your site, we have to see details of your queries.
