    Hi guys,

    We would like to know if there is any addition (Past or future) to Form Maker which would allow for an approval workflow to performed?
    The forms we create are for internal use by mobile staff and we would like to have a notification/email generated which acts as a request for approval, holding up the submission process until approval has been granted.
    Any help or assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you looked at Oasis Workflow – https://wordpress.org/plugins/oasis-workflow/?

    It provides tools to create an editorial workflow for review.

    The oasis workflow plugin works with posts and pages. It looks like form-maker creates a different object for submissions.

    Here’s an idea…
    If there is a create hook for form submissions, the hook can be used to create a post/page for the corresponding submission.

    The posts/page can then be submitted to the workflow for approval.

    Will that work?

    If it does, the “Pro” version of Oasis Workflow comes with “Auto Submit” – http://www.oasisworkflow.com/auto-submit-to-workflow. So as soon as the post/page is created the auto submit engine can pick it up and submit to a workflow.
