• I’ve just installed this plugin as an addition to the S2Member plugin to attempt to control who registers on my site. I get some problems in testing:

    1. I register a test user. Fine – the emails get sent to both that user’s email address and the Admin’s. If I try to log in as the new user before approval, then the login page is just redisplayed blank with no error message in the pink box (it’s blank). This is despite switching on the default option for this situation to say the account is awaiting approval.

    2. (And this is where I really get confused as it appears to conflict with the above) After registering a test user and getting the email telling the Admin that a new user needs to be approved, I click on the link there to go to edit the new user’s profile and ‘somehow’ approve it. It tells me that the user is already activated and its status is ‘approved’. Where, when and how is the Admin supposed to do the approving? There’s no option to unapprove either. (OK, that’s Problem #3)

    As I said, this seems to conflict with problem #1 as there, it looks like the user is not activated. Maybe (or maybe not) it is using the wrong password as delivered by the default WordPress ‘new user’ process), but there is no error message to say what’s wrong.

    4. There is no email to the user telling him that he has been approved. After I go in as Admin and look at the new user’s profile, then I can subsequently log in as that user with the password sent by WP.

    I hope someone can unconfuse me. Please. This does look on the surface to be the plugin I need, but it just don’t work at the moment.
