# Applying image caption retroactively

 * I’ve been using the Image Caption Easy plugin to apply captioning to my images.
   It uses the “alt” tag to pull the caption. Now that 2.6 has captioning included,
   I’d like to use it. How do I apply WordPress 2.6 captioning to all the images
   on my blog in the past so I can deactivate the plugin?
