apply_filters('the_content', $comment->comment_content)

I want to nicely format selected comments. When I call apply_filters(‘the_content’, $comment->comment_content) in my code, the Fancier Author Box is shown after the nicely formatted comments. Is there a way of not showing the fancier author box after the nicely formatted comments?
