apply to selected categories with age check

    Where can I find the setting to apply the age restriction to a particular category? Everything else on the site can be visible to everyone — there’s just one category I need to restrict to 18+. There’s nothing under any of the Age Gate settings that makes this possible. I want the user to be able to click on the portal and be taken to the age test input page.

    Hi @sol0712,

    It’s a bit fiddly at the moment, is much improved in the current dev version. But, currently:

    In the restriction settings, make sure “Inherit restrictions” is set to on.

    Then, in advanced, there should be options for “Inheritance taxonomies” with each of you terms listed out.

    Hi Phil, and thanks for getting back to me. I’ve checked both those settings. Under restrictions, “inherit restrictions” is on. Under advanced, there is the option to enable inheritance taxonomies, which I’ve done. And if I’m reading this right, I select the category to which I want the restriction to apply and then check the Age Gate checkbox at the bottom. Next step is applying styles to the gateway page.
