Apple Switcher Switches

  • Hey guys,
My blog is now powered by WordPress. I hated Movable Type from day one. I was going to break down and write my own blogging script when WordPress 1.2 was released. After some messing around on OpenSourceCMS.com (you guys really should host your own public test version), I made the switch. WordPress functions exactly as I expected and would have programmed myself. Thanks for the effort, hope to contribute code one day.

is not this the public test version?

Oisin: Yes, you may be so bold. 🙂 I have been so busy with client and school projects that this design has literally been planned for a year and a half. The initial move was to just get something working. I have hefty refinements on the design coming and after getting sooo many complaints about the menu, I am going to change it as well. You are in good company with your comment about the submenus.
Sushubh: If it *is* the public test version, then it needs to be linked and publicized more on the WordPress main site.

Excluding IE is not very friendly 😉

Jermster: wiki needs to be publicized more too 🙁

Beel: IE not supporting margins: auto; is not very friendly either. 😀

    1) I have no clue as to what you’re referring to about the picture being cut off. I just checked in IE 6 in XP. It displays the whole picture.
    2) What soft-hyphen bug is preventing display in Firefox? I’ve checked the site in Firefox in Windows and Mac OS X. It’s perfect. I’m confused.
