Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway » Apple Pay not showing on iOS

  • Hi,

I am having issues with Apple Pay on Stripe (default plugin) not showing up on iOS devices. There are random times where it does show but most of the time it doesn’t. I have tried the following all with no luck

    • Clearing Cache
    • Disabling WP-Rocket
    • Switching theme to store front and checking
    • Clearing cache on device

It should be working as I meet all the other requirements.

    Any help would be appreciated.

edit: it seems to only show on incognito mode on safari. I have tried removing and re adding the domain on the stripe dashboard with no joy. The domain is also entered as the correct format (no www).

    Hi @stingray23

Given the steps you’ve already taken, it seems like you’ve covered most of the basic troubleshooting. However, it’s noteworthy that Apple Pay is showing up in incognito mode on Safari. This could suggest that the issue might be related to specific settings or extensions in your regular browsing mode.

Here are a few additional steps you might consider:

    • Check if there are any browser extensions that might be interfering with Apple Pay. You can do this by disabling all extensions and then re-enabling them one by one to see if any particular one is causing the issue.
    • Make sure that both your WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin and your WooCommerce plugin are updated to the latest versions.
    • Check your SSL certificate. Apple Pay requires a valid SSL certificate on your site. You can use an SSL Checker tool to verify if your SSL certificate is valid and properly installed.
    • Verify that your domain has been properly verified with Stripe. The domain should be entered without “www” in the Stripe Dashboard under Payments > Apple Pay.

If you’ve gone through these steps and are still experiencing issues, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via and send the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
