Support » Plugin: TablePress » Append extra string to button link when select option list item

    Hi Tobias,

Not sure if this is in your support scope, but it would be great if you can assist me in this.

If you look at https://hostpride.net/gogetssl-ssl-certificates/ in the PRICE column I created select option list. Then there is an Order button next to it with a “base link”. When a user selects “1 yr…”, “2 yrs…” or “3 yrs…” from the option list, is there a way to automatically append “&billingcycle=annually”, “&billingcycle=biennially” or “&billingcycle=triennially” to the end of the “base link” so that the user is directly sent to the correct billing cycle option?

    Thank you. 🙂

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Sorry, this is indeed beyond what I can help with, as this does not directly deal with a TablePress feature.

However, this shouldn’t be too difficult. You will just need some JavaScript code, e.g. based on jQuery that appends that parameter to the URL, once the dropdowns change event is fired.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks for confirming that Tobias, I will try to see if I can find any information on the internet, since my knowledge for JS is very little. 🙂

    Hi,

yeah, it will require some coding, but it shouldn’t be too difficult.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
