• Hi,
I’m a relative amateur with WordPress so apologies if this questions seems simple. I have accidentally deleted the image from my Media Library that I had set for the background image of my home page. Referring to the WordPress manual it specifies that I can reset the image by using the Appearance Menu where there is a Background option. However, when I click on Appearance all I get is Menu or Widget option. How do I reset my background image if I cant see the option on Appearance. My User is listed as an Administrator.
    Many thanks

    Chris

Check the customizer in case that’s where your theme gets its background image.

    Hi Steve,
Many thanks for your reply. I’ve looked for the Customiser menu under Appearance (as instructed in the Customiser manual) but only get a Menu or Widget option (no Background or Customise option). I’ve looked at the dropdown for Theme Options and set a Background image in there but it doesn’t appear to work. I’d be extremely grateful for any other pointers you could give me.
    Many thanks
    Chris

    Hi Steve,
I’ve managed to find it under Theme Options – many thanks for your help.
