# Appearance > Editor, missing?

 * The Editor tab in Appearance is missing. I know that Itheme Security hides this
   page for security reasons but I don’t see a place to enable or disable it in 
   Wordfence and when I disable the plugin the Editor doesn’t come back.
 * Any ideas?

    This doesn’t
   seem to be related to Wordfence as we do not hide the edit tab in Appearance.
   I second [@pidengmor](https://wordpress.org/support/users/pidengmor/) suggestion
   to check your wp-config.php. Else, try to disable other security plugins you 
   may have installed to see if that helps.
