App ID – The field does not appear

  • I found a small detail that did not show the field to enter the application ID.

    It is in the class-admin.php file online 159-163.

    <? php if ($ options ['appID']! = "") {?>
    <tr valign="top"> <th scope="row"> <label for="appID"> Facebook App ID </ label> </ th>
    <td> <input id = "AppID" type = "text" name = "fbcomments [appID]" value = "<? php echo $ options ['appID'];?>" /> </ td>
    </ tr>
    <? php}?>

    Why is this conditional? Keeps hidden ID field

  • Hi Dawi,

    This conditional tag adds a warning to add the App ID. Once it’s added you can still change the App ID but the warning won’t appear itself

    Alex,

    The real problem is that the conditional will only show input in case you have some content in “appID”.
    The first time you activate the plugin, contains no information on that input, so the field is hidden.

    Greetings!
