A couple of other comments on this same issue…

Good morning I’m entering the scores and having an issue. Same issue when I entered the shoe tags. Instead of allowing me to enter 2 digits in the field, I need to click on the field again to allow me to enter the second digit. Really slowing me down.

And the Tab key does not take me to the next field.

This from one of my users, the one who makes lots of entries. The system was very efficient before the last update. Tab key should move to the next editable field, activate and highlight it and allow entry with multiple strokes. Return or tab should move to the next field.

Update fails, it does not see a new version…

The download version on the site is … .45 it should be … .47

The version I have now is .46

The selection of all rows now works fine.

The tabbing and editing of fields does not.

more clarification: – only active fields (fields that can be edited) should be entered into; as soon as the field is activated by tabbing to it or clicking on it, its content should be highlighted for editing, tabbing over that field should leave it unchanged; editing of the field should allow for more than one entry: as it is the first keystroke deactivates the editing field.

I have created editors a long time ago so I know all of this is possible. Hopefully you can fix this for us. If not, is it possible to go to a previous version of the App Builder?

Saw your test, it is not relevant to the problem. The problem occurs when you have the whole table on the screen with editable fields on each row. The tabbing goes from field to field, you do not open the row to edit separate fields.

It is important to be efficient here. Every week we have 60+ players, each playing 3 or 4 games. To enter the scores for each player we tab through their games and type in the score. That is over 240 entries, every week. Every stroke counts in this context. As it is now we have to tab, enter a number, come back to the field, tab twice, enter the number and it seems to finally enter. Then we go to the mouse and find the next field… You get the idea.
