You can see the issue in two ways, either by going to our blog while using Internet Explorer or if you received one of our newsletters that contains our latest blog articles.
For example, in our newsletters, the blog articles are appearing as such, “It’s not easy starting a company. 9 out of 10 usually fail. Tanya Prive, a contributing writer to Forbes, discusses the qualities RockThe Post..”
Notice the black diamonds with question marks inside of them? Why is this happening? For some background, we did move our site from a shared host to a VPS which means we moved to a new database, but our WordPress version was the latest version and remains the latest version.
If you’re on Internet Explorer and you visit our Blog (http://www.equitylancer.com/equicenter/), you should see apostrophes being converted to weird symbols like €™, â€.
How can I resolve this issue? If you make recommendations to change charset, etc. please inform me where to find the corresponding files.
