# Apostrophe search error

 * I know this has been discussed before but I can’t find an answer. When I search
   for an author that has an apostrophe in his name, I get no results.
 * If you search for O’connor, there are no results but it you search for Connor,
   it shows the author.
 * Can someone tell me how to fix this?

 * This doesn’t seem related to the Groups plugin as your question seems related
   to finding a user – which is something that is WordPress standard functionality.
 * But I was curious and tested it out … I’ve created a user whose Last Name is 
   O´Conner and WordPress doesn’t find it when I search by that same string (using
   the exact same ´ apostrophe).
